We have by now enjoyed the traditional Christmas meets, where luckily this year we were able to take hounds out as the weather was kinder to us. It was wonderful to see such vast crowds and thank all of the proprietors for their generous welcome. The excesses of the Festive season always seem far less after a good spin around the forest, which was enjoyed by mant.
Looking ahead, as always, the fundraising teams have plenty in store for us and we kick of the year with the Pre Cheltenham evening at the White Horse Exford, sat 18th Feb.
This always proves a popular event, hosted by the ever amusing Luke Harvey. There will also be a short Auction of racing inspired lots. Details to follow.
Tickets are already selling fast, from, Mrs Sharon Routley, 01398 341932
Please keep an eye on the Diary page or meet lists for future events.

Thankfully, after a bad start, the sun did decide to appear at this years event.
A big thank you to all sponsors, competitors and all those that gave up their time to come and help, it was another enjoyable day.
The winners were:
Hunt class, Quantock staghounds.
Family class, Robinson/Hardings.
Open, Dreaming of Cider.
Individual, Dominic Shnieder.
The Committee would welcome any thoughts or feedback as we hope to encourage more teams next year with a junior section and for the equine phase to run as an open hunter trial in the afternoon.
